Mood

Mood

Mood is a weird thing. It even sounds weird. Sometimes it can randomly just change for no reason, or there could be a specific event that occurred to cause the shift to a bad mood.

The human mind differs for all people. For example, one person can have so many problems, but it doesn't effect them as much as another person who only has a few problems but dwells on them greatly. Of course, it's difficult to change how your mind acts, but it is possible.

Several Ways to Attempt to Improve Mood

-Smile
-Laugh
-Look at Green or Blue
-Go somewhere quiet and just think
-Cuddle with a blanket
-Listen to a good song you like
-Continuously whisper "Beep Boop" to yourself several times

(I find the last one to be my favorite)

Why You Should Try to Improve Your Mood

Obviously, people do not enjoy being in a bad mood. The negativeness one is feeling can possibly spread to others around them. However, it's true with positiveness as well. Additionally, being in a good mood can help improve efficiency like at work or school, and better decision making overall. Being in a bitter mood can sometimes cause rash and feckless decisions to be made, because you are angry or frustrated. Being in a kind mood can allow your mind to be more clear, and your thoughts to be more cautious and intelligent.

Overall, being in a good mood is just much better. If you're currently in a good mood, try to spread that good mood right now, and in the future. If you're in a bad mood find someone who's in a good mood and hopefully they'll spread their positiveness. Just make sure not to spread negativity around, because it creates a sorrowful environment. Remember, people are always at their best when happy.

How Food Affects Life

I'm sure that many people's new year's resolution was to start eating healthier. There are many reasons for this, almost too many to count. Today I'm going to go over just big ways how food can affect the human body.

Weight

This is an obvious one. Over-eating, as well as under eating, can cause an unwanted and unhealthy weight. The human body is not made to constantly eat a gallon of chocolate ice cream every day. It doesn't even have to be that drastic. Although it's okay to treat yourself to something sweet every once in a while, it shouldn't be too much. Next time you're about to eat a bowl of ice cream for the third day in a row, think about if you really should.

Energy

From your science classes taken in high school, you've probably learned that energy is created from food. So everything that we put into our body effects how easily that energy is created. If there is an excess amount of unhealthy junk food put into our body then less energy will be provided. Healthy green's such as spinach,  broccoli, and many others, can allow more energy to be provided. Therefore allowing people to get through their days easier. The sugary stuff can allow a quick burst of energy, but then a just as quick crash soon after. Drinking water is also an important factor in energy and hydration.

Although I did not go into depth about the specific way of how these foods affect your body, you can always do research. If you're one of those people who made "eating healthy" their new year's resolution, then you can research additional information about specifically what is considered healthy or not.
